An officemate was talking about electric bikes one day at work and I got curious about it so I searched for it online and learned more about this new kind of vehicle that he said to be cheaper and better than the average bicycle and motorcycle. I learned that this is popularly called as ebike online and it looks like the bicycle that you are used to riding since you were little but the twist to it is that it has a motor attached to it making it very easy especially for elderly people. If you have always wanted a vehicle that is very cheap to buy and very cheap also to maintain, then you would really love the ebike, which is part of a big group that is ideal for local transportation and they are collectively called as Light Electric Vehicles.   You could also save on the operation cost of this type of vehicle because you would not use fuel since this is battery operated, which is also very good for the environment, and you would not have to worry about your safety since this is allowed in bicycle lanes. Since it is in the same classification as bicycles, one would not need to have a driver’s license in order to drive around an ebike; it is definitely a nice alternative for those who do not have a license or those who have suspended licenses. Since I just live a few blocks from my office, I have decided to purchase an ebike so that instead of having to walk to work, I would just use my ebike to save me time and for me to also still look fresh upon arriving at work. With three months of using the ebike, I am very happy that I did purchase it.
